VirSyn CUBE1.0を使っています。
CUBEはこの世の中の音をすべて作る事ができるといっているすばらしいソフトウェアです。
現在は2.0になっておりますが自分は今のところアップグレードする気は毛頭ありません。
このソフトウェア本当にすごいとはおもうのですが、素人が簡単にイメージした音を作成できるようなものではないからです。
以前仕事で効果音を作った時に四苦八苦しながら作りました。幻想的な音、電気的な音（電気風呂で人がしびれている時に使うような音）などを作ったのですがなかなか思うようには作る事ができませんでした。
でも、いつの日か苦難を乗り越えて使いこなしたいソフトウェアではあります。
そんなCUBEは1.5にアップデートしないとかなり使い勝手が悪いです。
使い勝手というよりもこの機能があるのとないのでは雲泥の差というぐらいの機能です。
それは作った音をAIFFにして書き出す機能。
この機能があるとすぐにAIFFにして書き出し、他のソフトですぐ利用できるのですが、この機能がない時は一度MDに録音して、それから再度マックに取り込み余白を切り取ると言った作業を繰り返しておりました。
アップデートはVirSynのHPからフォームに入力しその後ダウンロードの先のURLがメールで届くというしくみです。
メールが届くまでに２日半ほどかかりました。
フォームへに入力が英語だったためもしかしてなにか不備があってメールがかえってこないのかとおもいましたが、無事メールが届きました。
ちょっとタイムラグが長いですよね。
とはいえ、これで安心の1.5にバージョンアップできました。
