もう、たえられません
ムービーの編集をしています。作業中のファイルはFW800のハードディスクで実行してます。
作業の終わったデータはUSB2.0のハードディスクにコピーして保存してます。
が、前回のムービーを調べたりするときにUSB接続のハードディスクをのぞいてみても反応が悪く、再生してもかくかくで実際には一度書き出すはめになることもしばしばありました。
この状況はもう我慢できません。
実際にはハードディスクは早いはずなのに、結局インターフェースがネックになっているにちがいありません。幸いな事にそのUSBは中身は7200rpmのハードディスクでケースをUSB2.0の構成で組み立てたもの。
なので、FW800のケースに交換することにしました。
秋葉館でみると8890円。
ちょっと高めですが、eSATAもついているし、今後も有効に役立つ事をかんがえるとOKでしょう。
購入しUSB2.0に組み込んだハードディスクをFW800に移植。
動作確認、スピードをチェックするとiMacに接続したハードディスクで一番はやいベンチマークをたたき出してくれました。
編集も快適〜よかった
