アップルらしからぬ、ePub拡張
ePubの拡張仕様をアップルが打ち出しました。
自分の印象ではアップルは独自のフォーマットで、事を進めず、世界標準となる技術を使うという印象があったのですが、今回は違いました。
ePubが苦手としている見開きページができる。という仕様追加です。

ePubに関してはイニシアティブをとるぞーという気構えなのでしょうか。
それとも、もっと先のバージョンには当然組み込まれる形で、フライングといったところなのでしょうか？
真意の程はわかりませんが、ちょっといままでのアップルの動きとは違う印象をうけました。
